NFL insider reveals Falcons WR Drake London's status vs. Panthers

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London is «planning to play» in the team’s Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers. London was listed as questionable on the Falcons’ final injury report due to an illness.

After missing Wednesday’s practice, London was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Now it appears he will play in Sunday’s NFC South matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. London has gone over the 100-yard mark in four out of his last five games.

For the season, London has 53 catches for 691 receiving yards and six touchdowns. According to Schefter, the fourth-year wide receiver reportedly got sick after the team’s Week 10 trip to Berlin, Germany.

REPORT: Drake London ‘planning to play’ vs. Panthers

London finished last week’s 31-25 loss to the Colts with six catches for 104 receiving yards and one touchdown. While he continues to elevate his game, London’s contributions haven’t led to wins for the Falcons in recent weeks. The team enters Sunday’s matchup against Carolina on a four-game losing streak.

Aside from London’s uncertain status, the Falcons won’t have left guard Matthew Bergeron, edge rusher Leonard Floyd or cornerback Dee Alford. Right guard Chris Lindstrom and cornerback Mike Hughes are questionable for Week 11.
