2025 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix as it happened: Verstappen takes commanding win

Max Verstappen won the Las Vegas Grand Prix but drama unfolded afterwards as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were disqualified from the race for illegal plank wear.

Five hours after the race finished, it was confirmed McLaren had been disqualified.

The result see Verstappen go level on points with Piastri in the championship on 366, as Norris is 24 points clear at the top, on 390, going into next week’s Qatar Grand Prix.

Both Mercedes drivers’ are promoted to the podium, as the other drivers move up two places in the results.
