Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback Joe Burrow was asked Nov. 25 about how much he’s learned from teammate Joe Flacco over the past few weeks, ahead of Burrow’s expected return to action Thanksgiving night against the Ravens in Baltimore.
Flacco’s record is 1-5 in the six starts he’s made for the Bengals this season since relieving Jake Browning, who replaced Burrow when Burrow suffered a turf-toe injury in Week 2.

«I think whenever you have a guy that’s played that long, especially a guy that plays so much differently than you do, you can ask him what he thought in a situation or how would you react to this or that,» Burrow said. «He’s played a long time and played at a high level. So that’s something that I did take advantage of.»
When Burrow did his first 11-on-11 work since his injury, Flacco assessed Burrow’s performance and discussed their interactions.
«Joe (Burrow) looked good,» Flacco said after practice. «It’s cool to see him out there. Obviously when you’re both now taking reps, and things like that, conversations kinda happen. And just like ‘how do you see this vs. that?’ But yeah, Joe looked good.»
Burrow also acknowledged that the Bengals «pretty much have to win every game» in order to make the NFL playoffs.
