Sam Darnold is playing like one of the best QBs in the league, Jaxson Smith-Njigba is without a doubt the best WR in football this season, and head coach Mike Macdonald is getting coach of the year consideration.

Sam Darnold had a fantastic season last year as well for the Minnesota Vikings, but flamed out in the playoffs. This year, when he faces his former team, his attire might just aid him in taking care of business.

The Seahawks have some of the coolest jerseys in the NFL when they go to their throwbacks. You’d be hard-pressed to find a single football fan who disagrees. When Seattle announced their return, everyone was pleased.

Now that we’ve seen the team in action while wearing them, seemingly nobody loves them more than Sam Darnold.
In games where the team wears those throwbacks, Sam Darnold has looked elite. In two games this season in the jerseys, Darnold has thrown for 671 yards and 8 TDs on 49/58 (84%)
I’m sure Darnold will already be looking to show his former team what they’re missing, but thanks to the throwbacks, he might just give them a legacy performance.
