As good as it was, it’s only step one. We all realize that. The Baltimore Ravens’ victory over the Green Bay Packers didn’t punch The Flock’s ticket to the postseason. It was only part of the process, but it was good to see the guys come out swinging with their backs against the ropes.
Eventually, the knockout punches were thrown: Zay Flowers’ touchdown reception and Derrick Henry’s fourth TD run. Once the final bell rang, the Ravens were walking out of Lambeau Field with a 41-24 victory.

Truth be told, the Ravens’ playoff dreams could end with the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Cleveland Browns less than 24 hours later. If that’s how it ends, so be it, but let’s roll with this warm, fuzzy feeling for a few more hours. Week 17’s win felt like a late Christmas present.

Henry and Tyler Huntley received game balls. Following a fantastic showing in his mini-revenge game, the man affectionately known as ‘Snoop’ was more than willing to share the spotlight with the game’s MVP, and he hit the nail on the head with pinpoint accuracy while providing some perspective on Derrick Henry’s evening.

Simple, direct, and to the point is how we would describe this. Those were Huntley’s words while speaking with the NBC broadcast crew. He’s speaking for the rest of us. Henry’s night was one to remember, one that’s hard to put into words, but let’s try anyway.

Henry tallied 216 yards rushing and four TDs on 36 carries. He set a record for most 200-yard rushing games with seven. Not only that, he’s now tenth on the all-time rushing yards list and fourth all-time with 122 rushing touchdowns. He passed Adrian Peterson in the latter category with the entire world watching.
While Henry can’t repeat this type of performance weekly, there’s no excuse for not feeding this guy. He’s a legend. He’s a future Hall of Famer, and when he touches the rock, good things typically transpire.
