Real Madrid held their traditional open training session just before the end of the year this Tuesday in the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium. Xabi Alonso and his players have returned to training after the brief Christmas break. Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappe were among the players who spoke to RMTV.
“I keep learning a lot in this club and with this fanbase. It hasn’t been a beautiful year because we always win almost everything, and we’re sure we’ll be back,” said Vinicius. “What do I want in 2026? Health, calmness, and a lot of titles for Real Madrid. Hala Madrid, always!”

“It’s a very nice day, and the whole team loves seeing the kids with their parents. For 2026, I hope for titles,” said Bellingham. ‘The fans deserve that. 2025 has been a bit lackluster, and we want titles.”
“It’s a pleasure to play for Real Madrid and always enjoy the present and bring joy to everyone,” said Mbappé. “For 2026, I ask for happiness, health, and titles. Because if we win, the people are going to be happy.”
Real Madrid’s first game in 2026 is against Real Betis at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid are currently scheduled to play six games in January, but it could rise up to eight if Los Blancos make it to the final of the Supercopa in Saudi Arabia. That would require them to beat Atletico Madrid in the semifinal. Additionally, the next round of Copa del Rey games are yet to be scheduled.
