On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers made seven roster moves. One day later, the Packers made seven more roster moves, helping an ailing roster beset by injuries and in need of reinforcements to get through a meaningless regular season finale on Sunday.
The Packers announced the following moves on Wednesday:

Safety Zayne Anderson and cornerback Nate Hobbs placed on injured reserve.
-
Quarterback Clayton Tune and safety Jonathan Baldwin signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
-
Guard Karsen Barnhart, cornerback Tyron Herring and quarterback Desmond Ridder signed to the practice squad.
Coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that he did not anticipate Anderson or Hobbs to return this season. Both were injured against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night. Anderson injured his ankle on the opening kickoff, while Hobbs injured his knee on a collision in the end zone defending a pass.
The signing of Tune gives the Packers a potential starting quarterback for Sunday’s regular season finale in Minneapolis. Jordan Love remains in the concussion protocol as of Wednesday, while Malik Willis was not throwing during the portion of practice available to reporters on Wednesday.
Baldwin provides much-needed depth at safety with Anderson out and Xavier McKinney and Evan Williams both prime candidates to rest on Sunday.
In Ridder, the Packers have an 18-game NFL starter who could be the emergency backup behind Tune on Sunday. Barnhart and Herring provide depth at guard and cornerback, respectively.

Altogether, the Packers have made 14 roster moves over the last two days, and another is coming Thursday when the Packers officially add cornerback Trevon Diggs off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. This is an unusual amount of roster maneuvering for a playoff team in Week 18, but the Packers are in a unique spot in terms of injuries and circumstance.
