
Hawaii freshman guard Bailey Flavell notched her first career double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds and the Rainbow Wahine held on to defeat Cal State Bakersfield 64-52 tonight at Icardo Center in Bakersfield, Calif.
Keiara Curtis added 13 points and nine rebounds with 10 of her points coming in a third quarter in which UH built a 27-point lead.

Cal State Bakersfield (6-13, 1-8 ) went on a 25-5 run to get a close as seven points before Hawaii pulled away at the end.
Hawaii improved to 9-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play with its third consecutive win.
Saniyah Neverson chipped in nine points and eight rebounds for UH, which finished with 19 turnovers but only gave up seven points off of them.
UH won its first true road game after starting the season 0-3.
