Canelo Alvarez has brought in Jaron Ennis to help him get ready for Terence Crawford.
Ennis, a long-time rival of Crawford, especially when both men were at welterweight posted an image of him with Canelo on Saturday after sparring.
The Philadelphia man has often been compared with Crawford, mainly due to his ability to switch between the orthodox and southpaw stances.
Whilst most industry experts are conflicted on the outcome of the highly-anticipated September 13 bout, Alvarez is the betting favourite to emerge victorious at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The photo of the Mexican and Ennis also prompted some fans to side with Alvarez.

One fan posted on X: “This literally the best sparing u can get for Bud Crawford.”
Another wrote: “It’s over. Bud is getting KO’D!”
Another said: “Now I’m confident Canelo’s gonna win this.”
Crawford is undefeated in his 41-fight professional career and became a four-weight world champion last August, beating Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision in Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old Omaha native is moving up two weight classes to challenge Alvarez for his four super middleweight world titles and some believe he will upset the odds to hand what would be a third defeat for Canelo, who outpointed William Scull in May to regain the undisputed championship in Saudi Arabia.
One fan commented: “Even boots bigger than Canelo, Bud 3x undisputed soon come.”

Another wrote: “Glad he’s got the work in, shame he’s getting smoked by Bud.”
Another claimed: “Crawford beats both on the same night.”
Ennis is moving up in weight himself to 154lbs after relinquishing his WBA and IBF welterweight titles and will begin life at his new division with a clash against Uisma Lima at the Xfinity Mobile Arena [previously called the Wells Fargo Center] on October 11.
‘Boots’ is the number one contender with the WBC and claims he has signed to face interim champion, Vergil Ortiz Jr in early 2026, although Ortiz first faces Erickson Lubin on November 8 in Texas.
