The Oregon Ducks got hit hard by the injury bug during their bye week and were without a handful of starters in their Week 11 game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, including WR Dakorien Moore, TE Kenyon Sadiq, and OT Alex Harkey. To make matters worse, they lost WR Gary Bryant Jr. to an injury in the first quarter, as well.
So, on a short week, hosting the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday night, it doesn’t come as a major surprise that the Ducks are still short-handed.

According to the official availability report released by the Big Ten on Friday night, Oregon has ruled out 10 players, including Dakorien Moore, Evan Stewart, and Gary Bryant Jr. On top of that, players like Kenyon Sadiq, Devon Jackson, Alex Harkey, and Tionne Gray are listed as questionable, expected to try and give it a go before the game and see how things feel during warmups.
Both Moore and Bryant Jr. were reported to be out leading up to the game, with Sadiq being listed as a game-time decision.
Notably, Evan Stewart is still listed as ‘out’ for this game, despite rumors that he might try to return from his knee injury for this game and make his season debut.
Fortunately, this isn’t a game where Oregon is expected to be in a close one until the very end. While Minnesota is a decent team, the Ducks are favored by 25.5 points and are projected to win comfortably. Ultimately, the biggest goal for Oregon is to get out of this one healthy with a comfortable win and turn attention to next week’s game against the USC Trojans.
