The Giants have officially shut down four players for the final two weeks of the season, including star offensive lineman Andrew Thomas.
Thomas, C John Michael Schmitz, S Tyler Nubin, and DL D.J. Davidson were officially placed on injured reserve prior to Sunday’s meeting with the Raiders.

Thomas is dealing with a hamstring inured suffered in last week’s loss to the Vikings.
Nubin has a neck issue, Schmitz a finger, and Davidson has a concussion.
Rookie Marcus Mbow (LT) and Austin Schlottmann (C) will jump into the lineup with Thomas and Schmitz sidelined.
To fill their spots Big Blue has signed C Bryan Hudson, K Ben Sauls, DT Elijah Chatman, and S Raheem Layne to the roster.
Additionally, RB Dante Miller and TE Zach Davidson have been elevated from the practice squad.
