CountryBox247.com, 7:00 pm ET, CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing. From The Texas Troubadour Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee. And if you didn’t already know, you’d better learn, as they seem to be rebranding it “The Troubadour.” It’ll forever be The Texas Troubadour Theatre for CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing originalists, though. All six and four rounders for The Boxing, with the biggest name on the bill being Rydell Booker. The Music is Kish Moody, “bringing that raw, Nashville sound that hits just as hard as the punches.” Hopefully, consuming “that raw, Nashville sound” doesn’t carry the same risk of campylobacter infection as other raw items.

DAZN, 1:00 pm ET, Agit Kabayel vs Damian Knyba. From Oberhausen, Germany, with Kabayel defending his WBC interim heavyweight title. Kabayel is one of the biggest winners of the Saudi boxing era, breaking through in a big way with his knockout of Arslanbek Makhmudov on that first “Greatest Boxing Card In History” event right before Christmas of 2023. Two more knockouts in Riyadh since then, over Frank Sanchez and Zhilei Zhang, have him a consensus top 3 or 4 heavyweight, with as good an argument for #2 as anyone else right now. Knyba is 29, undefeated but largely untested. He’s fresh off a win over Joey Dawejko, and the biggest names on his record are probably Michael Coffie and Curtis Harper (WATERBAG!). But, you never know what a guy’s ceiling might be until he really gets a chance to smash his head against it. One other interim title on the line in the chief support, where Ricardo Nunez and Jadier Herrera vie for the WBC interim lightweight belt. Hey, didn’t O’Shaquie Foster just win that a month ago? Yes. It’s complicated. Let Stumberg explain. Also on this card, 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Nelvie Tiafack! And, Tyson Hughie Tommy Plymouth Roman Fury in a scheduled six-rounder! PPV.com, 7:00 pm ET, Subriel Matias vs Dalton Smith. From Brooklyn, New York, for Matias’s WBC super lightweight title. Matias is 3-0 since his decision loss to Liam Paro a year and a half ago, most recently claiming the WBC belt by majority decision over Alberto Puello. Smith is 30, undefeated, with a healthy resume of British and Euro titles to his name. He beat the 2024 version of Jose Zepeda, then Walid Ouizza and Mathieu Germain in 2025. Matias at his best is one of the scariest forces in the sport, but he’s stumbled before. Smith has real talent, and the power to keep Matias honest. It’s a good matchup, with real intrigue. Lucky that, because the undercard is lacking in notable names or compelling matchups, unless you follow the Orlando hotel boxing scene closely. If you’re spending the $54.99 to see this show, it’s the main event that’s opening your wallet. BLH will have live updates
