Michigan State receives crystal ball prediction for a 2027 RB prospect

Michigan State football is hosting their first junior day of Pat Fitzgerald’s tenure in East Lansing, welcoming in a plethora of talent in the 2027 recruiting class on unofficial visits. The weekend of visits appears to have potentially paid off for the Spartans in favor of one Midwest prospect.

According to a report from 247Sports’ Justin Thind, the Spartans have pulled ahead in the recruitment of Savior Owens, so much so that he has placed a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Spartans to land the prospect.

Owens, a 5-foot-11 and 215 pound running back from Massilon, Ohio, plays at Washington High School, a powerhouse program in the state. He does not currently have a ranking on 247 or Rivals.

New MSU running backs coach Devon Spalding is leading the charge in this recruitment, a prospect he led for in Madison and now appears to lead for in East Lansing.

Owens holds offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, UConn and Wisconsin.
