Nebraska (7-4, 4-4) flew out east for a Saturday night conference clash with Penn State (5-6, 2-6) following a bye week. The Huskers faltered big time against the Nittany Lions, suffering a massive 37-10 defeat.
Penn State set the tone early, scoring on its opening drive after producing a fourth-down stop in the red zone. The Nittany Lions then took off in the second quarter, scoring 16 points to head into halftime up 23-3. Nebraska couldn’t slow down Penn State’s offense, nor could it fully break through the Nittany Lions’ defense.
