Tennessee Titans have parted ways with safety Quandre Diggs, one of the most prominent veterans on a defense that’s gone through a purge of talent in recent weeks.
Diggs, 32, is in his second stint with the Titans. He’s started four games this year and logged 30 tackles. Notably, Diggs is the cousin of Titans quarterback Cam Ward; their grandmothers are sisters. A three-time Pro Bowl safety from his time in Seattle, Diggs will be subject to waivers since the Titans cut him after the NFL trade deadline.
Without Diggs, the Titans safety room consists of Xavier Woods, Amani Hooker, rookie Kevin Winston Jr., Kendell Brooks and recent waiver add Jerrick Reed II.
