The G League’s OKC Blue cruised to a 113-92 win over the San Diego Clippers on Saturday. The road victory improved their record to 4-11 in the regular season.
It was a tale of two halves for the Blue. They were in a 31-27 deficit after the first quarter. OKC scored 26 points in the second frame and were in a manageable 56-53 hole at the halftime break. Afterward, they completely flipped a switch to run away with the game.

The Blue scored 29 points in the third quarter. They were suddenly up 82-76. To open the fourth frame, they scored the first 16 points to blast open a 22-point lead. That turned this into a much-needed blowout win to add momentum. In total, OKC had 31 points in the final frame.
The Blue shot 59% from the field and went 11-of-29 (37.9%) from 3. They shot 5-of-8 on free throws. They had 27 assists on 47 baskets. Five Blue players scored double-digit points.
Meanwhile, the Clippers shot 47% from the field and went 10-of-36 (27.8%) from 3. They shot 7-of-9 on free throws. They had 18 assists on 35 baskets. Six Clippers players scored double-digit points.
