Orlando Magic standout forward Paolo Banchero will be sidelined for Friday’s match against the Brooklyn Nets due to a left groin strain, and he will be assessed daily, sources informed ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Banchero had an MRI on Thursday that confirmed the groin strain he incurred during the initial half of Wednesday’s victory over the New York Knicks.

He will keep undergoing evaluations. This season, the forward is averaging 21.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.

Following a sluggish 1-4 start, the Magic have triumphed in five of their last seven contests.
