‘We’re here now’: Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn discuss upcoming rematch

As Chris Eubank Jr prepares for his rematch with Conor Benn on Nov. 15, DAZN has made available their face-off interview where both boxers engaged in a conversation about their upcoming clash.

“This is my true self,” Eubank Jr told Benn. “I’m transparent and honest. If I observe something that I dislike or disagree with, I highlight it. You do the same. I simply consider my way of expressing myself to be more polished. If you view me as a jerk, that’s fine. I’ve been called far worse by many others…So here we are. We’re set to fight in two months.”

Benn then inquired why this matchup was delayed when it could have happened back in September.

“I chose not to fight on September 20th because you wanted it,” Eubank Jr elaborated. “‘Okay, this guy wants to fight on Sept. 20th, so guess what, we’re not doing it.’ I couldn’t care less when he wants to fight; we’ll have our match when I choose — I came out on top. I don’t have to dance to anyone else’s tune.”

Following a debate regarding rehydration clauses, ambulances, and more, Benn asserted his confidence in his ability to knock out Eubank Jr in their initial encounter, despite the outcome not favoring him.
