The San Diego Padres have their next manager, and it’s a name the team knows quite well. Former Padres reliever Craig Stammen was reportedly hired to manage the team next season, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.
Stammen spent the last six seasons of his playing career with the Padres.
Following his retirement from baseball, Stammen joined the Padres as an assistant in 2024.
