While DAZN has steadily increased its subscription rates and added more and more PPV events to their offerings on top of that, the company has just issued a press release indicated that they are ‘revolutionizing’ the PPV model by introducing a new ‘ultimate’ subscription pricing plan that will include its PPV events. The first three included PPV events to this new offering will be Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 on Nov. 15, David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde on Nov. 22, and Naoya Inoue vs David Picasso on Dec. 27.
“When DAZN entered boxing, we immediately challenged the status quo by bringing some of the biggest fights in the sport exclusively to streaming. We are shaking things up once again with DAZN Ultimate, launching an evolution of pay-per-view that will make boxing more accessible to fans. DAZN Ultimate reflects our long-term vision: to build a sustainable, fan-centric ecosystem for boxing that rewards loyalty and delivers unforgettable experiences,” said Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group.
DAZN Ultimate will cost US subscribers $44.99 per month, with an introductory price of £22.99 per month for UK subscribers for the first year if they sign up by December 1, otherwise the standard rate will be £24.99. All other countries where DAZN is offered will be at an equivalent rate of $19.99 per month.
