Berlin finally steps into the spotlight for the NFL in Week 10, as the Indianapolis Colts face off against the Atlanta Falcons at Olympiastadion in the league’s fifth regular-season matchup in Germany, marking the first in the capital following previous games in Munich and Frankfurt.

The Colts find themselves in an unusual position: tied for the second-best record in the NFL at 7-2 alongside the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, yet coming off their most disappointing performance of the season. Indianapolis turned the ball over six times in their Week 9 defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers — the highest number by any team in a game this year — with Daniel Jones accountable for a career-high five of those. The stakes are significant for Indy, too: According to ESPN Analytics, the Colts hold a 27% chance of securing the AFC’s No. 1 seed as they head into kickoff, just behind the 6-2 Buffalo Bills (30%). That likelihood increases to 33% with a victory and drops to 15% with a defeat.
The Falcons, on the other hand, are well acquainted with stamping their passports.
This marks the Falcons’ fifth international matchup (2-2 thus far), having most recently lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in 2023. They aim to deal the Colts their first consecutive losses of the season.
