Bayern Munich have renewed the contracts of three assistant coaches and the goalkeeper coach until 2029, after head coach Vincent Kompany had his term also extended until then.
Kompany, who arrived in 2024, had his contract renewed in October. Bayern said on Friday that assistant coaches René Marić, Aaron Danks and Floribert Ngalula would now also stay until 2029 along with goalkeeper coach Michael Rechner.

“We are pleased that, following Vincent Kompany, we’ve also been able to extend the contracts of his coaching team,» board member for sport Max Eberl said.
«With this well-functioning group, we want to continue on the path we’re on and tackle the challenges of the future together.”
Kompany and his staff won the Bundesliga last term.
They lead the league by eight points this season, are in the German Cup quarter-finals and close to direct entry into the Champions League last 16. Bayern have won 21 of their 23 matches across all competitions, the only dropped points coming in a Champions League defeat at Arsenal and a Bundesliga draw at Union Berlin.
