Manchester United manager Marc Skinner remarked that his team is making history after a 1-0 victory over Juventus secured them a beneficial draw in the Champions League playoffs.
Jess Park‘s goal in the first half in Turin — her debut in Europe — ensured United’s fourth victory in the tournament and a sixth-place finish in their first season in the Champions League’s main draw.

United will discover their opponents in a two-legged play-off when the draw is announced at 12 p.m. UK time on Friday.
Skinner stated on Disney+: «I’m extremely pleased considering the quality of teams we’ve faced and those that have finished in the top six.
«There’s a remarkable legacy in this competition, and we are yet to establish ours. We’re forging that path, and to finish sixth is … I haven’t fully absorbed it yet.
«However, I know I’ll reflect on the flight home and feel immense pride for everyone contributing to our goals.»
England forward Park mentioned that United had taken a «significant stride» after securing a win for her team in their concluding group match with a precise curling shot from just inside the penalty area in the 18th minute.
She expressed to Disney+: «It was a phenomenal moment. I truly enjoyed it. A solid finish as well, of which I was proud.
«All the girls battled hard, and I’m proud of the entire team. We’ve made history as a unit. We accomplished this together. We’ve taken a really significant step.»
