Italian media have once again placed the spotlight on Yann Bisseck following Interās Supercoppa Italiana exit against Bologna, with La Gazzetta dello Sport describing the defenderās latest handball as a recurring and damaging pattern.
āOne hand pulls the other, and Inter always end up back at square one,ā the newspaper writes, with quotes via FCInterNews.

āThe central issue is that the hand is always the same, guilty and ill-timed, especially inside the penalty area.ā
According to Gazzetta, Bisseckās repeated handball fouls have weighed heavily on Interās 2025, which has ended āwithout even a scrap of silverware.ā
The paper labels the issue āa gigantic factor,ā noting that this was already the third time such an error has proved decisive.

The previous two incidents both came last season. One in stoppage time away to Genoa at the Ferraris.
And another even more costly mistake at San Siro against Lazio on the penultimate matchday.
Despite the criticism, Gazzetta is clear that these errors are not expected to affect Bisseckās long-term future at the club.
āFor Bisseck, at the moment, there seems to be only Inter,ā the report states.
āEven if that means doubling up.ā
The German has been used across multiple roles this season, including as the central centre-back in defence.
Indeed, before returning to his more natural right-sided centre-back position.
The challenge now is psychological.
After another high-profile mistake, Bisseck is once again being asked to respond.
To regain confidence and show that these lapses do not define his development.
