ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — In spite of a right foot injury, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is ready to participate in Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles and is not anticipated to face any restrictions, according to coach Sean McDermott.
«He should be good to go,» McDermott remarked on Friday. «The soreness has been decreasing day by day as we progress through the week. He should be in a good position.»
However, the Bills will be without several key defensive players, including safety Jordan Poyer (hamstring) and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (calf). Poyer recorded his first interception since 2022 in last week’s victory over the Cleveland Browns. Additionally, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (ankle) and kicker Matt Prater (right quad) are also poised to miss their second consecutive games. Practice squad kicker Michael Badgley will stand in for Prater.
Tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox (knee) are both listed as questionable for the game after being limited in Friday’s practice. Kincaid has missed some practice time due to a persistent injury that McDermott mentioned the Bills are managing.
Allen was not marked with an injury designation on the team’s last injury report. He participated fully in Friday’s practice after being limited in Wednesday’s walk-through and not taking part in Tuesday’s walk-through. He did not appear to have any noticeable support on his right foot during the stretching segment of practice open to the media.
