The Denver Broncos are fresh off a 20-13 win against their AFC West rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Christmas Day. Right now, with a 13-3 record, the Broncos are primed for a number one seed for the 2026 AFC playoffs. However, that doesn’t mean fans and pundits can’t look ahead to the NFL draft.
The Draft Network believes the Broncos will make the Super Bowl and will have the 31st pick in the 2026 NFL draft. While Sean Payton could pick an offensive player to continue building around Bo Nix, author Justin Melo believes Georgia linebacker CJ Allen will be a worthwhile addition.

“The Denver Broncos are rolling and appear to have little to no major weaknesses throughout their roster right now,» Melo wrote for TDN. «If we’re nitpicking, they can get younger and more athletic at linebacker. CJ Allen is physical and violent with downhill intentions. Allen is also rangy with sideline-to-sideline ability.”
Justin Strnad and Alex Singleton are both scheduled to become free agents in 2016, so Denver could certainly use reinforcements at the position.
The Broncos face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18 to conclude the regular season.
