The NFL playoffs are upon us, with six wild card games taking place over the next three days. Things kick off on Saturday afternoon with the Carolina Panthers hosting the Los Angeles Rams at 4:30 p.m. ET. It’s the first of two Saturday games — the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears play at 8:00 p.m. ET on Prime Video — and will set the tone for the weekend.
With that in mind, the Panthers have made an excellent pick to get things started pregame as Grammy Award winner Christopher Jackson is set to sing the national anthem. Fans will recognize the talented singer and actor from his role as George Washington in the historic Broadway musical, Hamilton.
The singing of the national anthem is just one of the many festivities set for Saturday, with singer Cooper Alan performing at the morning fan fest, a full-field flag and pregame show, former Panthers players in attendance and a postgame fireworks show.
