The third round of the oldest domestic cup competition in world football takes place this weekend.

Round three of the FA Cup is when Premier League teams enter the fray, offering up the prospect of a dream day out for any of the non-league sides still involved.
Crystal Palace are the holders, having defeated Manchester City in last season’s final. Their opponents are Macclesfield, who are down in the National League North and eagerly anticipating a money-spinning tie against the Eagles.

The draw took place on December 8, shortly before the round-two game between Brackley Town and Burton Albion.
