Another day, another crop of quality female fighters joining the Most Valuable Promotions roster, as Jake Paul’s outfit announced the signing of featherweight champ Tiara Brown, super welterweight titlist Oshae Jones, and four others.
Brown (20-0, 11 KO), a former world amateur champion, scored by far the biggest win of her career last March by toppling Australian Olympian Skye Nicolson in hostile territory to claim her WBC title. She’s fought once since, cruising past Emma Gongora (no relation) on a September club show in Houston, but now finds herself in position to battle Amanda Serrano in one of the better fights women’s boxing has to offer at the moment.
“Signing with Most Valuable Promotions is a major moment in my career,” Brown said. “From my amateur foundation to becoming a world champion, every step prepared me for this level. I’ve earned everything through discipline and consistency. Now I get to showcase that experience and championship mindset on a global stage with MVP.”
Jones (9-0, 3 KO), 28, took bronze at the Tokyo Olympics after falling to Hong Gu in the semifinals. She turned pro the following year and, seven fights later, edged out veteran titlist Femke Hermans to win the IBF belt by split decision. Her lone fight of 2025 saw her take home another split decision, this time over BoxRec no. 2 Elia Carranza in July.
“From earning an Olympic medal to becoming a two-belt world champion, every step has prepared me for this,” Jones said. “With MVP behind me, I’m ready to compete on the biggest stages and continue building my legacy.”
BoxRec no. 11 super flyweight LeAnne Cruz (11-0, 1 KO), no. 9 super featherweight Elise Soto (10-0, 9 KO), and no. 23 lightweight Miranda Reyes (8-3-1, 3 KO) also join the roster. The press release gives a spotlight to debutante Jully “Poca” de Oliveira, a social media darling and Misfits veteran with a 4-0 record in exhibitions.
“I chose MVP because they don’t just put women on the card, they lead the way in putting us in the spotlight,” Poca said. “Seeing how they have done with Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner and others shows me their incredible commitment to making sure female fighters are valued as we should be. While I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my journey so far, joining MVP gives me a platform to represent my country on the world stage and help take Brazilian boxing to a whole new level.”
