Solon’s Eli Kampman has been added to Iowa football’s 2026 recruiting class, the program announced Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Kampman is the son of former Hawkeye Aaron Kampman, who went on to have a successful NFL career.

Kampman made an impact in a variety of ways at Solon. As a senior, he was 145-of-236 passing (61.4%) for 2,230 yards with 29 touchdowns through the air to 12 interceptions. He also rushed for a team-high 488 yards, along with five touchdowns on the ground. Kampman was offered a preferred walk-on spot by Duke as a quarterback.

On the defensive side of the ball last season, Kampman totaled 27 tackles, two forced fumbles and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Kampman is listed at 6-foot-2 and 196 pounds.
