Reported details of Dominick Barlow's new Sixers contract emerge

The Philadelphia 76ers made the expected decision on Thursday when they converted Dominick Barlow to a standard deal after he took advantage of his time on a two-way contract. The 4-year man from Overtime Elite continues to impress and the Sixers rewarded him with a deal.

In terms of the details of the deal, per Spotrac, Barlow is set to make roughly $3.4 million for the rest of the current 2025-26 season and make another $3.4 million for the 2026-27 season. That second season is a team option and if the Sixers decline that option, then Barlow will become an unrestricted free agent.

In his fifth season in the league, Barlow is averaging 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 55.2% from the floor and averaging a steal per game. He is an important piece to this Philadelphia team while also being with the team on a cheaper deal. The Sixers will continue to look at him to start at power forward for the rest of the season and into the playoffs.
