No. 3 Tennessee (9-0) defeated UCLA, 11-0 in five innings, in the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational at Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.
Erin Nuwer (5-0) started for the Lady Vols and pitched a complete game in a run-rule decision. She totaled four strikeouts and 78 pitches, including 45 strikes, against 20 batters.

Nuwer allowed one hit, two walks and zero walks in the contest.
Tennessee totaled eight hits, including four home runs, against the Bruins. Emma Clarke, Alannah Leach, Taelyn Holley and Maddi Rutan hit one home run each for the Lady Vols.
Bella Faw hit Tennessee’s only double against UCLA.
One Lady Vol reached on an error, one on a fielder’s choice and Tennessee left one runner on base. Tennessee went 2-for-8 with runners in scoring position and 4-for-11 with runners on base versus UCLA.
