Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is wide receiver Zay Jones.
Zay Jones 2025 season
Jones was re-signed in 2025 for a second season with the team. After a disappointing eight-catch season in 2024, the 2025 season was also disappointing. He had only 12 catches for 183 yards in eight games, and then tore his Achilles against the Seattle Seahawks and missed the rest of the season.
Zay Jones contract status
Jones is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent when the new league year begins on March 11.

Zay Jones offseason outlook
This is going to be a tough offeason for Jones. He will have to get healthy first, but after a total of 20 catches over two seasons, teams will not be banging down the door for his services.
He likely will land a league-minimum deal around training camp. As for the Cardinals, don’t expect him back.
