🍼 Jags' Travis Hunter, wife welcome first child

On Wednesday night, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter and his spouse, Leanna De La Fuente, announced the birth of their son with a YouTube vlog. The clip titled «Dear Son…» chronicles the couple’s journey leading up to the birth of their baby.

It begins with Hunter and De La Fuente showing a positive pregnancy test result, accompanied by ultrasound images.

In a video from March 26, De La Fuente shares that she had a dream the prior month about having a son. On Feb. 28, she noted in her phone under «Dream 2/28», stating, «Baby was a boy with lots and lots of curly hair.»

«I was certain it would be a boy,» De La Fuente declares.

The couple did not disclose their baby’s name or the birth date.

After Hunter was picked as the No. 2 choice by the Jaguars, De La Fuente filmed the two-way star, stating, «Your dad got drafted.»

«And then you’re going to come up and be like me and get drafted to Jacksonville,» Hunter says afterward.

Hunter then sends a message to his son: «You have to be better than me.»

The video proceeds to showcase moments from De La Fuente’s pregnancy, featuring her baby bump and the couple at the hospital before their son’s arrival. It concludes with the sound of the baby crying while Hunter comforts his wife.

«Dear Son, We love you. Love, Mom and Dad,» reads the video’s description.

Hunter and De La Fuente first met at Collins High School in Suwanee, Georgia, and dated during Hunter’s time at Jackson State and Colorado, eventually getting engaged in February 2024. They tied the knot in May.
