Former UFC athlete Jessica-Rose Clark added another notable victory to her achievements on Friday evening, defeating Brazilian fighter Claudia Zamora at DBX 3 in Miami.
Zamora opened the match aggressively, but it was Clark who made the first mark, cutting Zamora just above her right eye in the first round.
A ringside doctor examined Zamora briefly, but she was permitted to carry on. As the second round began, Zamora displayed no signs of fatigue, applying continuous pressure on Clark for the remainder of the match. Regrettably for Zamora, it was Clark who executed the more significant strikes, clinching her second consecutive victory under the DBX promotion.
