Heavyweight contender Agit Kabayel will look for a strong start to his 2026, as the hard-hitter returns home to fight in Germany for the first time since 2023, facing Damian Knyba in a 12-round main event from Oberhausen.
Kabayel (26-0, 18 KO) has had his last three fights in Saudi Arabia, and has dramatically raised his profile as a high-end heavyweight with stoppage wins over Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez, and Zhilei Zhang, becoming recognized as a vicious body puncher and a real threat to the top dogs.
Knyba (17-0, 11 KO) is a 29-year-old Polish-American who stands 6’7” with an 86-inch reach, but has never been scheduled for a 12-round distance and has never gone past eight rounds in a fight. He’s been fighting on Top Rank undercards for years now, and this is his chance to make his own name in the division.
The card will see three more heavyweight bouts, plus a WBC interim lightweight title fight between Jadier Herrera and Ricardo Nunez.
