DELTA TWP. — Derek Thomas surpassed 1,000 career points while scoring a game-high 31 points to lead the Warriors to a CAAC Blue home victory over Holt. Cayden Ali picked up 16 points and DJ Pope tacked on 10 points for Waverly (3-0, 1-0). Brandon Mercer finished with a team-high 24 points, Malik Harris scored 15 points, Trevon Johnson tallied 14 points and Michael Aimery chipped in 12 points for the Rams (1-1, 0-1).

OKEMOS 65, EVERETT 62 (OT)

OKEMOS — Isaac led the Wolves with a team-high 16 points as they helf off Everett for the CAAC Blue home victory. Ben Mulder finished with 13 points and Ben Clark dished out four assists and snagged four steals for Okemos (1-2, 1-0). Marrion May led all scorers with 27 points and Logick Lyoyo tacked on 17 points for the Vikings (1-2, 0-1). JV score: Everett 59, Okemos 46

FOWLERVILLE 47, EATON RAPIDS 37

EATON RAPIDS — Dylan Soli led the Gladiators with a team-high 12 points as Fowlerville (2-2) picked up the nonleague road win over Eaton Rapids. Easton Nobach notched 12 points and Ryan Steele tacked on 10 points for the Greyhounds (0-2).

CHARLOTTE 66, BATTLE CREEK PENNFIELD 60 (OT)

AJ Spencer-Sprattlin scored the first five points in overtime and Mason Hudson added four points in the extra session while helping the Orioles to the nonleague win. Spencer-Sprattlin finished with 25 points and seven rebounds and Hudson added 14 points for Charlotte (3-0). Evan Colosky added 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists and Tyler Bowzer contributed 12 points for the Orioles. John Lake had 21 points for Pennfield. GRAND LEDGE — Brothers Maddox Newburg and Braylon Newburg each had 19 points while leading the Comets in their CAAC Blue victory over DeWitt. Maddox Newburg, a junior, had 11 points in the second half as Grand Ledge pulled away while freshman Braylon Newburg made five 3-pointers. Braden James added 12 points

STOCKBRIDGE 59, MAPLE VALLEY 50

STOCKBRIDGE — A 10-0 run in the fourth quarter helped the Panthers pull away to pick up a Big 8 home victory over Maple Valley. Bradley Buddenborg finished with a team-best 21 points, Evan Lockhart scored 14 points and Jonathan Crow tacked on 13 points for Stockbridge (3-0, 1-0). Teegan McDonald led all scorers with 26 points for the Lions (1-1, 0-1).

WEBBERVILLE 77, BELLEVUE 39

WEBBERVILLE — Dominic Driver led all scorers with 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help push the Spartans to a home victory over Bellevue (0-2). Dylan Rhodes tallied 17 points and five assists, Cam Buccanhon finished with 16 points and dished out six assists and Daxten Feguer added on 12 points for Webberville (3-0). MOUNT PLEASANT 65, ALMA 49

MOUNT PLEASANT — Alma had an eight point lead in the middle stages of the third quarter before the Oilers went on a 16-2 run to grab the lead en route to the win. Koby Shunk had 18 points and Penn Seeley had 12 points and eight rebounds for Alma.
