Introduction to Côte d’Ivoire
After defeating Nigeria (2-1) in the final of the CAN 2023 held on home soil, Côte d’Ivoire are determined to defend their crown in Morocco.
This marks their 26th appearance after previous participations in 1965, 1968, 1970, 1974, 1980, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
In addition to their 2023 triumph, the Elephants have lifted the trophy twice more, in 1992 and 2015.
