Not long after it was announced that WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois has inked a contract with MVP, with a title defense scheduled for Dec. 19, Sky Sports reports that Dubois is already eyeing a larger clash, aiming for a lightweight title unification fight against Terri Harper in the upcoming year. Dubois states that this prospective matchup is a significant factor behind her signing this new agreement.
“It was one of the primary motivations for me to join forces with MVP and Jake Paul. I believe they have the toughest opponents available. They feature the most prominent names,” Dubois informed Sky Sports News. “Terri Harper, Alycia Baumgardner, Stephanie Han, and Holly Holm are all included in their roster.”
Dubois believes that a matchup with Harper is highly logical, given they are both British athletes and could create an exciting event in the first quarter of 2026. In the meantime, however, Dubois plans to showcase her skills for the world next week and expresses her ambition for greatness.
Her first opponent is Camilla Panatta, against whom Dubois will defend her WBC title in Miami, Florida.
