Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal could be living his last few months as a madridista, as he suspects that the club will not offer him a contract extension with his current deal expiring next summer, according to a report published on MARCA.
Carvajal has seen a diminished role ever since he came back from knee surgery right after the Christmas break, and while heās been available to play heās only been on the field for 15 minutes against Albacete and the same amount against Monaco. Coach Ćlvaro Arbeloa decided to start Castillaās David Jimenez on Real Madridās visit to Valencia last weekend and Carvajal was visibly upset after the game during a chat with physical trainer Antonio Pintus.
It definitely looks like Arbeloa and Real Madrid are ready to move on from Carvajal, who turned 34 years old last month and appears to have entered his decline as a player.
