Fight Pass picks up Opetaia vs Cinkara

Tasman Fighters’ Mick Francis tells BoxingScene that he just recently signed the broadcast deal. Opetaia (28-0, 22 KO) is still under a co-promotional deal with Matchroom, which is airing a Monte Carlo show headlined by Shabaz Masoud vs Peter McGrail on DAZN that same day. I’ve seen speculation on what this could mean for Opetaia’s long-desired unification bout with Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez, but considering Ramirez just let David Benavidez jump the queue, I think the issues there are more deep-seated.

The rest of the card includes Max McIntyre vs Jed Morris in the co-feature, a stay-busy bout for Jason Moloney after back-to-back losses against Yoshiki Takei and Tenshin Nasukawa, and Olympian Teremoana Teremoana’s fourth bout of 2025 against designated victim German Garcia Montes.
