Former Michigan State starting OL commits to Boston College

Michigan State football lost starting offensive guard Kristian ‘Big Dooley’ Phillips to the transfer portal after spending the last four years in East Lansing.

Injury problems plagued Phillips in his career, not allowing him to play a full season in his time with Michigan State. It ended with the two sides parting ways, needing a fresh start. Now, Phillips has a new home, making the decision to commit to Boston College.

A 6-foot-4, 310 pound native of Conyers, Georgia, Phillips projects to the interior of the offensive line for the Eagles. On surface, he should only have one year of eligibility, but medical redshirts could be in play for more years available to him.
