Liverpool strolled to a long-awaited 20th title in England’s top flight last season.
However, less than six months after guiding the Reds to the Premier League crown, Arne Slot is at risk of losing his job.
Indeed, the Dutchman cannot afford more slip-ups, as the Anfield giants teeter on the edge of a full-blown crisis.
Furthermore, Slot has tarnished his relationship with star forward Mohamed Salah, who will not feature in tonight’s game.
Meanwhile, Inter will take the field in a buoyant mood after winning their last three matches, scoring 11 goals in the process.
Still, Dimarco knows better than to underestimate the Merseyside powerhouse.

Instead, he expects the Nerazzurri to maintain full focus, with a coveted Champions League top-eight finish on the line.

“We have to keep following what the coach asks of us, what we work on during the week, and try to put in a great performance tonight,” Dimarco said.

“We’re up against a strong opponent, just like when you face Barcelona, Bayern Munich, teams of that level.
“Therefore, we need to stay focused and compact, play as a team, help each other out, and bring home points because today is important.”
Moreover, Dimarco insisted that he can still improve.
“I try to make my contribution in every match I play,” he said. “But there’s always room for improvement, and I work to get better day by day.”
Meanwhile, speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Dimarco demanded a ‘great’ performance from his side.
“They are a strong team, full of high-level players,” he said. “We’ll have to stay focused for the entire 90 minutes. They’re always dangerous in every situation.

“We’ve seen over the years that when we’ve put in great performances, it’s because we played as a team from start to finish.
“And we gave everything for each other, and we have to do the same tonight.”
Asked what Inter need to forget last season’s Champions League final: “It’s very simple.
“You just have to take it one match at a time.
“In the Champions League, every game is tough; tonight we’re facing a strong opponent, and we’ll need to stay sharp.”
