Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller has made a lot of headlines in his controversial boxing career, from big nights in the ring to failed drug tests outside of it, but tonight he made his most surprising headline yet.
In the second round of his fight with Kingsley Ibeh at Madison Square Garden, Miller had his hair knocked off. Literally.
Here’s how Miller looked during pre-fight introductions:
In the second round, his hair began to lift off of his head.
Not long after, it pretty much fully came off.
After the second round, Miller removed the wig from the top of his head and tossed it into the crowd, which had, as you’d imagine, already started reacting with laughter and shock as Ibeh was knocking the hair off of his head.
Here’s how Miller looked after just getting it off of his head.
If you’ve watched boxing a while in your life, you know it gets pretty rare you can say you’ve seen something you never saw before. But I’ve never seen this before.
What did Miller have to say about the wig after the fight?
Miller blamed his baldness on some shampoo he found “at his mama’s house,” but overall laughed it off.
“You’ve got to make fun of yourself,” he told Chris Mannix of DAZN, then went into a normal post-fight interview.
