MIAMI — Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua successfully made weight for their unexpected heavyweight bout scheduled for Friday at Kaseya Center, broadcast live on Netflix.
Paul’s weight was recorded at 216.6 pounds, 11 pounds lighter than his victory over Mike Tyson in November 2024. Joshua’s weight came in at 243.4 pounds. The agreement stipulated that Joshua could not exceed 245 pounds, and he weighed in below that limit. He tipped the scales at 240 pounds for his 2021 match against Oleksandr Usyk and 244.5 pounds in the rematch, both of which resulted in losses. His peak weight was 255.25 pounds during his 2023 decision victory over Jermaine Franklin.
Anderson Silva registered a weight of 191.4 pounds for his bout against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who weighed in at 194 pounds for their six-round cruiserweight matchup.
