Michigan State football flips Air Force DL commit from Howell (MI)

While the early signing period concluded on Friday, Michigan State got some good recruiting news on Monday afternoon. Jackson Pahl has officially signed with the Spartans.

Pahl, a native of Howell (MI) and Howell High School, is a 6-foot-4, 270 pound defensive lineman that was previously committed to Air Force. He is coming to the Spartans as a walk-on.

With the Highlanders in 2025, he was named to All-KLAA, All-Region and All-State teams for his high level play on the defensive line.

While he has an offer from Air Force, he also held offers from Cornell, Grand Valley State, Penn and Saginaw Valley State. A nice addition for new Spartans head coach Pat Fitzgerald as a project add for Michigan State.
