Joshua Zirkzee’s situation has become one of the most sensitive to monitor ahead of the January transfer window.
The Dutchman remains Roma’s top target to strengthen their attack, but so far United hasn’t fully opened up to a move until the final days of the transfer window.

However, the Red Devils’ upcoming transfer moves could open up new possibilities.
As Fabrizio Romano reports, Manchester United have set their sights on Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, with the player valued at around £65 million.
However, to make such a purchase possible, United will need to make room in their budget, which could mean selling Zirkzee, who could leave on loan, perhaps with an obligation to buy.
The Dutch striker’s departure would free up the salary cap needed to finance the Semenyo deal.
The key to understanding whether Zirkzee will leave United this winter will therefore depend on the feasibility of the Semenyo deal. If the 23-year-old Bournemouth striker’s transfer goes through, United could definitively open up to selling Zirkzee.

Roma are waiting, but in the meantime, they’re studying possible alternatives to be prepared.
In addition to the Dutchman, the Giallorossi are closely monitoring Raspadori, on his way out of Atletico Madrid, and Yuri Alberto. In addition to the Giallorossi, AC Milan remains interested in Zirkzee.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri, despite having effectively closed on Fullkrug’s arrival, aren’t ruling out another move up front. The Dutchman is still the name of the club, but it would be a deal that would only be completed in the final days of the transfer window.
