New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson completed a hat-trick offensive performance by racking up three touchdowns in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins.
He showed off his versatility by rushing for a touchdown early in the game. The veteran running back then showed off his pass-catching abilities by winning on a route and hauling in a 15-yard touchdown reception later. He went on to put the finishing touches on his incredible Week 18 performance by powering his way through defenders for a 35-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter.

The touchdown was Stevenson’s second-longest run of the day, and it put an exclamation point on a dominant second half for the Patriots. It ended a drive that took four plays, 63 yards and 2:06 off the clock. For Stevenson, this was his seventh rushing touchdown of the season.
Stevenson has been one of the Patriots’ top impact players on offense in the last two regular-season games. The team is hopeful that same effort carries over into the postseason. Stevenson and rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson could do some serious damage to opposing defenses in the playoffs.
Who knows? They might prove to be the winning formula for the Patriots.
