The Detroit Lions will continue to be a part of an impressive musical tour this holiday season.
The Lions will be playing the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, Dec. 25, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The game is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m. and will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.

As part of the holiday packaging, Netflix has announced that legendary Long Beach, California, rapper Snoop Dogg will be performing the halftime show, bringing G-Funk to Minnesota and heat to the Christmas Day festivities.

The Lions have played in two games that have featured high-profile halftime shows in 2025, with Jack White and Eminem performing on Thanksgiving Day and The Temptations performing on Dec. 4.
This is not the first big NFL halftime performance for Snoop Dogg, who performed alongside hip hop luminaries Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Anderson .Paak and 50 Cent for the Super Bowl 56 halftime show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This time, however, the Doggfather will take center stage for his own performance.

And hopefully Detroit’s performance in Minneapolis sandwiching the halftime show will be better than the ill-fated Snoop Lion rebrand from over a decade ago.
