Another boys high school cross country season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.
This fall, Bridgewater-Raynham (2-0, 2-0 Pioneer Athletic Conference) led the way locally, sweeping the new PAC-3 and winning its inaugural championship. Bristol-Plymouth (3-2, 2-2 Mayflower Athletic Conference) and Dighton-Rehoboth (2-3, 2-3 South Coast Conference) both had solid seasons while Bristol Aggie (2-5, 2-3 MAC) and Taunton (0-5, 0-5 Hockomock League) had some strong finishes.

Now, with the season of the rearview, cast your vote for the 2025 Taunton Daily Gazette Fans’ Choice Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, with polls open through noon on Monday, Dec. 22. This poll also will play into deciding the 2025 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, with the fan vote accounting for 25% of the Gazette’s final vote. Voting can only be done through the poll below, and any votes submitted by email or other means will not be counted.

Jordan Trucchi, Taunton
The junior was the Tigers top finisher in all five dual meets, winning two, while also finishing 13th (16:39.8, personal best) at the Hockomock Championship.

Brian Peters, Bridgewater-Raynham
The senior was crowned the inaugural PAC-3 champion (16:27.6, season best).
Brett Gifford, Bristol Aggie
The freshman finished a team-best 18th overall (19:23.8, personal best) at the MAC Championship.
Brenden Labelle, Bristol-Plymouth
The senior had multiple top three dual meet finishes and finished 37th (21:51) at the MAC Championship.
Hawkyns Pray, Dighton-Rehoboth
The senior finished a team-best 11th overall (18:17.10, personal best) at the SCC Championship.
